CEO and Founder

Alejandro Romero is the CEO and founder of Alto Data Analytics.

Before founding Alto Data Analytics in 2012, Alejandro was Vice President of Viacom for Southern Europe, Turkey, the Middle East and Africa. Previous to Viacom, Alejandro was in charge of development of Yahoo! Business in Southern Europe, an extension of his work at the Vodafone Group, where he forged strategic partnerships with global companies such as Microsoft and Google. Prior to Vodafone Alejandro was a manager at Alcatel-Lucent. Overall, Alejandro has successfully helped companies with their digital strategies in more than 20 markets worldwide.

Alejandro earned a Master of Science in Engineering (M.Sc. Eng.) with a focus in Electronics and Automation from UMA University (Spain) and an MBA from Henley Business School (UK).



Head of Global Accounts & Consulting

Jose Miguel Cansado is head of Global Accounts & Consulting and is a partner at Alto Data Analytics.

Before joining Alto Data Analytics, Jose was an international executive in the technology and media industries. He spent eight years in Asia Pacific helping Alcatel-Lucent launch mobile advertising, multi-screen and interactive TV applications in Shanghai and Kuala Lampur. Prior to his assignments in Asia Pacific, Jose led sales support in Alcatel’s Application division in Spain and LATAM. He started his career at IBM.

An active blogger at Disruption Matters and frequent speaker at industry events, such as CommunicAsia and Future TV, Jose is also the author of the novel Digital Renaissance.

Jose earned a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from UPV University (Spain), an Executive MBA from IE Business School (Spain), and a Marketing postgraduate degree from INSEAD (France).



Head of Market Research & Applied Analytics

David Iglesias is head of Market Research & Applied Analytics at Alto Data Analytics. He works closely with Alto clients, helping translate strategy into meaningful metrics.

Before joining Alto Data Analytics in 2008, David led market research and analytics projects for France Telecom (Orange, and Vodafone. Prior to his work with telecoms, David was the online performance-marketing manager for the Mediaset Group, a mass media company.

David earned a degree in Business Administration & Management and a Master of Professional Marketing from UCM (Spain). He also earned a Master of Market Research and Marketing from ESIC Business Marketing School (Spain).




Jakub Danilewicz is CTO at Alto Data Analytics. Jakub has turned the Alto Analyzer platform into one of the world’s leading software tools for data analysis. He leads the company’s software architecture design, front- and back-end product development, global operations and product support.

Before joining Alto Data Analytics, Jakub had dedicated his career to digital product development, focusing on enterprise-grade IT applications for e-commerce, enterprise search, content management and ERP. He was the lead IT design architect on several projects for Aareon bank. Jakub also worked for and founded an open-source project called Alembik.

Jakub earned a degree in Computer Science from the University of Wroclaw (Poland).



Lead Software Developer

Piotr Idzikowski is Lead Software Developer at Alto Data Analytics. Piotr heads product development, content operations and global product support.

Before joining Alto Data Analytics, Piotr worked for (Teléfonica). Prior to Tuenti, he developed one of the biggest social networks in South Africa and an innovative location-based social network for mobile phones in Poland.

Piotr earned a degree in Mathematics from Wroclaw University (Poland).
